With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Herman (Mahomet, Illinois), born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Herman and Bertha Herman (Kuhl); and his siblings, Louella Zuber, Jim Herman, Julia Blank, Kenneth Herman and Daniel "Doc" Herman.
He is survived by : his wife Beverly Boxell (Boxell) of Seymour; his children, Mark Herman (Julie) of Mahomet, Jennifer McKay of Denver, Colo and Lynn Wingert of Farmer City, Ill.; his grandchildren, Allison, Dana Herman, Kelsey, Caitlin McKay, Jacob, Madyson and Gracie Wingert; and his sisters, Marge Hughes, Jane Herman, Alice Billman and Phyllis Harris (David).
Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (501 W State St, Mahomet, IL 61853). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
