He is survived by : his wife Donna Bragg; his children, Ryan Shoemaker (Katie) of Atwood and Krista Schwarze (Nick) of Mahomet; his grandchildren, Noah, Cooper, Kameron and Vivian; and his siblings, Robert Shoemaker of Decatur, Norman Shoemaker of Shelbyville and Eleanor Stewardson (Chester) of Shelbyville.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home - Decatur (2827 N Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church of South Shores (875 W Grove Rd, Decatur, IL 62521). A burial was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at the Boiling Springs Cemetery (2445 Boiling Springs Rd, Decatur, IL 62526).
