He was predeceased by : his father Lawrence; his son Edward Lawrence Kampwerth; his brothers, Cyril Kampwerth, Leroy Kampwerth, Marcel Kampwerth (Joan), Tom Kampwerth and Lawrence "Turk" Kampwerth; his father-in-law Edwin Trame; and his brother-in-law Lester Trame.
He is survived by : his children, Tim Kampwerth (Carla) of Aviston, Tony Kampwerth of Breese and Russ Kampwerth (Alyssa) of Aviston; his grandchildren, Cameron, Maya Kampwerth, Logan and Kylie Kampwerth; his sister Helen Vahlkamp (Vernon) of Carlyle; his mother-in-law Loretta (Trame); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Korte (Jerry) of Breese, Judy Kampwerth of Breese, Jane Kampwerth of Beckemeyer, Dr. Eldon Trame, MD (Anne Stewart) of Belleville, Michael Trame (Dolores) of Highland, Barb Glaub (Dave "Rip") of Breese and Steve Trame (Angie) of Champaign. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (304 S Washington St, Bartelso, IL 62218). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
