He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Hofmann and Lillian Hofmann (Keehn); his daughter Adrienne Yvonne Elam; and his siblings, Allan Hofmann and Wanda Hofmann.
He is survived by : his children, Nancy Keil of Chesterton, Shielda Frye of Chesterton, Dan Hofmann (Joyce) of Paris, Kendra Heredia (Phil Day) of Paris and Dawn Sawa (Don) of Crown Point, Indiana; his son-in-law Dennis Elam of Paris; and his grandchildren, Jon, Matt, Jake Keil, Katherine Schmitt, Kraig Frye, Fred Hofmann, Hope Skiles, Missy Jennings, Bridget Bonacorsi, Nathan Elam, Bethany Ring, Erin Robinson, Josh Heredia, Jordan Heredia, Megan Thompson and Melissa Brum. He is also survived by twenty five great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Stafford-Crimmons Cemetery (19041 Stfford-Crimmons Rd, Paris, IL 61944).
