She was predeceased by: her father Robert G. Ulm; her brother Thomas Ulm (Reba) of Mobile, AL; and her sister-in-law Jeanne. She is survived by: her mother Lucile Hiett Ulm; her husband John Avelis, Jr. of Terre Haute, IN.; her children, John (Ruth Galvez) of Montclair, VA, Diana (Trevor Holland) of Alexandria, VA and Robert (Tina) of Lakesite, TN; her grandchildren, Annabelle, Theodore, Aaron, Benjamin, Eleanor, Emmeline and Charlotte; and her brothers, James Ulm of Boerne, TX, Gregory Ulm (Denise) of Fishers, IN and Patrick Ulm (Angie) of Columbus, IN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (405 W Clark St, Champaign, IL 61820).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Cross School, the children's programs at your local public library, or the American Cancer Society.
