With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma McFarland of Urbana, Illinois, born in Barnesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rand McFarland; and her parents, Virgil DeVoe and Grace Weber DeVoe. She is survived by: her sisters, Rose Girard and Lois Weis (David); her sons, James (Jennifer), Brian (Heidi), John and Chris (Megan); and her grandchildren, Ethan, Lauren (Tom), Jackson, Ainsley, Schuyler, Zane, Liberty, Ewan, Ella, Reis, Betsy and Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (604 W Windsor Rd, Champaign, IL 61820). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Danville National Cemetery (1900 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832).
