He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Smith and Betty Smith (Pendleton); his brother Dee Smith; and his stepbrother Mike. He is survived by: his wife Tina Smith (Timmons); his children, Megan Perun (Justin), Travis Smith and Justin Smith; his grandchildren, Carter and Emma; his parents-in-law, Terry and Roger Berning; his brother Butch Smith (Sherri); his stepsister Linda Johnson; his nephew Andrew Smith (Jessie); his nieces, Morgan Nierenhausen (Kyle) and Erica Kirkpatrick; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Alaina, Kennedy, Clain, Jace and Liam; and also Chris McKenry.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801).
