It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald John Frechette of Bradley, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Neal Joseph and Loraine Viola Frechette (Poskins); his wife Janice Frechette; and his siblings, Harold Frechette, Donald Frechette, Doreen Clausen and Richard Frechette.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Webb (Jim) of Lexington, KY, Jayne Walsh (Bill) of Lombard, Julie Azzarelli (Greg) of Kankakee and John Frechette (Kelly) of Powell, OH; his grandchildren, Kathy Ruzsa (Alex), Jimmy Webb (Karen), Tommy Webb (Traci), Amy Karmgard (Alex), Christina Curry (Nathan), Debbie Keane (Michael), Cecilia Azzarelli (Drew Hartman), Luke Azzarelli (Taylor), Joel Azzarelli, Bridget Azzarelli, Augustine Azzarelli, Paul Azzarelli, Jeremy Frechette (Stephanie), Lydia Swearingen (Alex) and Madeline Aguilar (Jesus); his sister Roseanne Frechette of Sammamish, WA; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret "Muggs" Frechette of Bourbonnais and Judith Frechette of Urbana. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Uplifted Care.
