With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Walton of Champaign, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Martin and Alta Martin (Goslin); and her husband John Walton. She is survived by: her children, Dan Walton (Peggy) of Savoy, Phillip Walton (Carolyn) of Arlington Heights and Nola Loeffler (David) of Crescent City; and her grandchildren, Adam Walton (Gina) of Champaign, Eric Walton (Jennifer) of Urbana, Zachary Walton of Arlington Heights, Rob Loeffler (Ashley) of Champaign, Haley Loeffler of Bloomington and Joe Loeffler of Crescent City. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM and from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
