It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Federico Canchola of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidel and Maria; and his son Cesar Canchola. He is survived by: his wife Francisca Vargas; his children, Jose Canchola (Liliana) of LaSalle, Mayra Canchola of Indianapolis, IN, Everardo Canchola (Alma) of Kentucky, Salvador Canchola (Gloria) of Bolingbrook, Felix Canchola of North Carolina, Arselia Canchola (Juan Fuentes) of Champaign and Beatris Canchola of California; and his sisters, Maria Canchola (Eliseo Valdivia) of Chicago and Esperanza Canchola (Melchor Soto) of Mexico City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hyacinth's Church (927 10th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent's Cemetery.
