He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Morgenstern and Sybil Morgenstern (Keith); his former wife Dorothy Morgenstern; and his wife LouAnne Morgenstern. He is survived by: his children, Roger W. Morgenstern (Jean) of Mahomet, IL and Raynell K. Gegel (David) of Kirkwood, MO; his grandchildren, Keith Morgenstern (Meghan), Lindsay Hammer (Joel), Michelle Wainwright (Mitch), Grant Gegel, Sean, Kelly, Colin, Theo and Corinne; and his close friend Elizabeth Haury.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marissa Presbyterian Church (201 N Hamilton St, Marissa, IL 62257). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
