He is survived by: his wife Jackie Lee; his children, Cammie Meerdink (John) of Mahomet, IL, Annie Welch (Dylan) of Mahomet, IL, Eric Piper of Mahomet and Tim Piper (Sara) of Wheaton, IL; his grandchildren, Eva, Daniel and Piper Meerdink; his children, Eli, Henry, Charlotte Welch, Jack, Wes and Millie Piper; and his brother David Piper of East Peoria, IL..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
