He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Palmisano and Rose Palmisano (Gentille); and his wife Catherine Buttitta. He is survived by: his daughter Rose Shahan (James) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Jason, Ashley and Mason; and his great grandchildren, Courtney and Caius. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Matthews Catholic Church (1303 Lincolnshire Dr, Champaign, IL 61821).
