He was predeceased by: his parents, Eilert Hoorn and Evelyn Van Hoorn (Wieburg); and his daughter Beth Naffziger. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Myers (Tom) of Lake Villa, Mary Causey (Chris) of Libertyville, Scott Van Hoorn of Tremont, Jill Behnke (Mark) of Portage, WI, Greg Van Hoorn (Moe) of Mahomet and Vanessa Olson (Greg) of Palatine; and his son-in-law Joe Naffziger of Canton, GA.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (505 E 4th St, Delavan, IL 61734). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
