He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Lester Humphrey and Nell Demova Humphrey; and his brother David Michael Humphrey. He is survived by: his children, Tim Humphrey (Jennifer) of Pleasant Plains, Rob Humphrey of Murphysboro and Joanne Humphrey (Angie) of Belton; his grandchildren, Josh Betts (Jasmine) of Indianapolis, Garrett Betts (Madison) of Maysville, Larissa Musselman of Champaign and Cheyenne Humphrey of Pleasant Plains; and also Hallie Betts of Maysville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peters Creek Baptist Church (218 RR 1, Elizabethtown, IL 62931). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peter's Creek Cemetery Fund, Hospice of Southern Illinois or a Veteran's charity of choice.
