He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Schalk and Etta Schalk (Spears); and his sister Patricia Mason (Schalk). He is survived by: his children, Andrew Schalk (Alicia Burlow) of South Pekin and Alisa Hall (Dennis) of Manito; his grandchildren, Amber Schalk-Crider (Austin), Austin Spradley (Jade), Adam Spradley, Alexia Barlow and Dalton Mont; his great grandchildren, Audrie Crider and Laylah Spradley; and his siblings, Mark Schalk (Lori) of Deval, Delmar Schalk (Starr) of Champaign, David Schalk (Denise) and Sandra Schalk of Peoria.
