He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wood and Louise Wood (Kasey); his in-laws, Victor and Sarah Glick (Godfrey); his daughter Valerie Willmore; his grandson Blake Robert Wood; and his brother-in-law Kenny Shuff.
He is survived by: his wife Janis M. Glick; his children, Katrina Griffith (Kent) of Tower Hill, IL and Brian Wood (Ramona) of Tower Hill, IL; his son-in-law Randy Willmore of Fairview, TN; his sister Jeanie Shuff of Mode, IL; his grandchildren, Megan Cagle (Matt) of Washington, IL, Rachel Bell (Bryan) of Washington, IL, Hannah Jepsen (Zach) of Champaign, IL, Quincy Wood (Whitney) of Shelbyville, IL, Kassandra Willmore (Tyler Smith) of Nashville, TN and Logan Willmore (Anna) of Cleveland, TN; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Morgan Cagle, Ryleigh, Dylan Bell, Harper Jepsen, Ephram and Addison Wood.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Tower Hill Christian Church (103 Ontario St, Tower Hill, IL 62571). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Tower Hill Fire Department or the Tower Hill First Responders and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
