He is survived by: his wife Sheila Jones (Gregory) of Taylorville; his children, Lee Jones (Crystal) of Vandalia, Michael Jones of Champaign, Scott Jones of Kinkead and Jacki Jones of Champaign; his stepchildren, E. J. Paintiff (Sarah) of Smith Grove, KY and Shawn Paintiff (Shane Henson); his grandchildren, Nicki (Lance Stewart), Jayden Jones, Jarrett Jones, Dylan Jones, Jourdan Jones, Codie Hesse (Chelsea), Morganne (Blake Test), Shayla (Josiah Johnson), Mitchell Jones and Brady Jones; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Isabella, Oaklee, Neema, Porter, Zoey, Gryder, Brynlee, Baylor, Blakeley and Breck.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairlawn Cemetery South 6th (716 S 5th St, Vandalia, IL 62471).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
