It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Schwenk (Champaign, Illinois), who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Giuffre; and his brother Calvin. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Schwenk of Mexico; and his children, Kevin (Mary), Brian (Dawn), Marian (Rick), Janien (Doug), Dean (Kim), John (Jeana), Alan (Christine) and Kristen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (405 W Clark St, Champaign, IL 61820).
