He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his children, Laura Urbana (late John), Floyd Smith Jr. (Judith), David Smith, Janet Smith and Sherri Brom (late Ronald); his grandchildren, David, Alicia, Nicole, Nicholas, Matthew, Floyd III, Eric, Zachary and Victoria (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Alexis, Amara, Madison, Sunra, Maddox, Matthew, Amelia and Nicholas Jr.; and his siblings, Jane Davis (James) and Joseph Smith (late Pearl). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2447 Desplaines Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West (17w201 E Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
