He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Dean and Betty McKinney (Bishop); and his brother Dale McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Melanie McKinney of Iola; his children, Crystal Byers (Jeremy) of Iola, Dean McKinney (Regina) of Iola and Ashley Hunt of Iola; his grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Madison, Kyle, Courtney, Jacob, Aaron, Hannah, Jaxson, Danae, Ezzy, Aubree, Aleah and Eli; his great grandchildren, Leeahnah, Lila, Kash and Iris; and his siblings, Janet Rich of Watson, Junior McKinney of Champaign, Dixie Lopez of Wisconsin and Sandra. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGriff Funeral Homes - Louisville (825 Chestnut St, Louisville, IL 62858). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Roger's memory to his favorite charity that he and Melanie had supported for many years, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
