With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Ryherd (Champaign, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane Ryherd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ryherd and Florence Ryherd; and his wife Mae. He is survived by: his children, David Ryherd (Becky), Brian Ryherd (Ann), Sharon Blackwell (Pete) and Diane Love (Mark); his grandchildren, Jonathan Ryherd (Julia), Joanna Hoppe (Martin), Ben Ryherd (Laurel), Sarah Blackwell, Lisa Stremming (Ben), Natalie Love, Emma Blackwell, Seth Love, Isaac Love and Megan Blackwell; his great grandchildren, Marcos Hoppe, Elisa Hoppe, Oscar Hoppe, Roy Ryherd, Lucas Ryherd and Leila Ryherd; and his sister Linda Ebel (Joel Martin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy (3601 S Duncan Rd, Champaign, IL 61822). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy or a charity of donor's choice.
