He is survived by: his daughter Debby Young; his son-in-law David Young of Newman, IL; his son David Day; his daughter-in-law Dawn Day of Aiken, SC.; his grandchildren, Samantha Murphy (Jared) of Champaign and Will Young (Christina) of Morrison, Colorado.; his great grandchild Keira Murphy of Champaign; and his close friend Marthaan Riegel of Monticello.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monticello United Methodist Church (2020 E Washington St, Monticello, IL 61856). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
