She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvel L. Minick and Mary Minick (Raley); her siblings, James Minick, Mary Margaret Shockey and Lillian Konetzka; and her sisters-in-law, Denise Hummel, Doris Cleveland and Carol Ways.
She is survived by: her husband John W. Hummel; her children, John William Hummel, Jr. of Savoy, Lisa Marie Gaylor (Robert) of Englewood, Mark Devon Hummel of Urbana and Lori Rene Younker (Steve) of Genoa; her grandchildren, Ashley White (Max), Mary Catharine Hummel, Bobby Gaylor, Ethan Gaylor, John Hummel, Jack Hummel, Rachel Younker and Benjamin Younker; her great grandchild Ryan White; her sisters, Virginia Hostetler of Finzel, Cecelia Sandifer of Hague and Rose Marie Hutzell of Meyersdale; and her siblings-in-law, Rita Crowe of Edgewater and Duane Hummel of Grantsville, Maryland..
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (708 West Main Street Parking on north side of Chuch enter off of Coler Ave. or, N Busey Ave, Urbana, IL 61801).
