He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. Elliott and Anna Martin Elliott; and his former wife Lila Mae Saldeen. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Frerichs Fruhling; his children, Doug Elliott of Loda, Cathy Scudder (Randy) of Rantoul, Teri Reuschel (Jeff) of Golden and Cindy Albert (Jim) of Cartersville, Georgia; and his stepchildren, Julian Fruhling (Tami) of Scottsdale, AZ, Janine Fruhling Petersak of Danville, Jeffrey Fruhling of Homer and Jay Fruhling (Julie) of Catlin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 25 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (406 E Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at the Glen Cemetery (602 E Summer St, Paxton, IL 60957).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
