With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl D. Olson of Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Olson and Tennie Aden Olson; and his siblings, Elmer, Eldred, Eugene, Ervin Olson, Margie Huls and Mildren Sjoken.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Olson; his children, Mark Olson of Urbana and Debra Johnson (Lynn) of Ogden; his sister Marcella Stephanou of Rantoul; his granddaughters, Wendy Johnson (Ben Fulk), Tiffany Johnson and Holly Johnson (Jeff Kirby); and his great grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Taylor Fulk and Paige Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Lux (1551 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, IL 61866). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home's Lux Chapel (1551 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, IL 61866).
