He is survived by: his wife De Cornyn (Austin); his daughters, Maggie (DJ Roach) of Champaign and Molly (Ryan Ross) of Champaign; and his siblings, Daniel Cornyn, Nancy Riesbeck (John), James Cornyn (Beth), Sheila Cornyn and Amy Abalos (Daniel). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; 11 grand-nieces and -nephews; and four great-grand-nieces.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (405 W Clark St, Champaign, IL 61820).
