We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, Larry E. Johnson of New Windsor, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leone Kaline Johnson and Elder Johnson; his wife I. Carol Johnson; his daughters, Lori Henrikson (Brad) of Huntsville, AL and Karen McHale (Brendan) of Mahomet, IL; his sister Maureen Huels of Galesburg; and his son Barry Alan. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (121 Meridian St, New Windsor, IL 61465). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Windsor Cemetery (511 N 4th Ave, New Windsor, IL 61465).
Memorials can be made to Ducks Unlimited and Calvary Lutheran church, New Windsor and Petrie Cemetery, New Windsor.
