He was predeceased by: his father Ralph William. He is survived by: his mother Bessie Celia Slifer (Kelly) of Taylorville, IL; his sisters, Brenda Patrick (Greg) of Taylorville, IL and Melody Bodine (Russ) of Forsyth, IL; his nieces and nephews, Nick Patrick (Alyssa) of Decatur, IL, Kristi Cummins (Michael) of Melissa, TX, Elizabeth Randel (Christian) of Taylorville, IL, Will Bodine (Hadley) of Champaign, IL and Connor Patrick (Paige) of Taylorville, IL; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, J. D. Patrick, Penelope Patrick, Theodore Patrick, Lane Randel, Madison Cummins, Cade Cummins and Bennett Cummins. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Christian County Mental Health Association (Memo: John Street CILA) or Camp New Hope.
