She is survived by: her husband Dr. David Schaeffer; her children, Steven Schaeffer (Tammy) and Lori Acree (Mike); and her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Noah, Courtney and Ryan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center's Champaign Chapel (710 N Neil St, Champaign, IL 61820).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.
