It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mimi Cozad of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Tieman and Bea Tieman. She is survived by: her children, Greg Cozad (Kristie) and Cindy Norris (John); her grandchildren, Natalie Chapman (Jordan), Courtney Simmons (A. W.), Jenna Verno (John) and Robb Cozad (Kirsten); and her great grandchildren, Joanna, Eleanor, Wesley, Henry, Hallie, Lydia and Naomi.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (302 W Church St, Champaign, IL 61820). A reception will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Champaign County Club.
Memorial contributions in Mimi's honor may be directed to the Champaign County Humane Society.
