He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buhr and Katherine Buhr (Schluter); his brothers, Robert, Harold and John Buhr; and his nephew David Buhr.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Mae Hinrichs; and his daughters, Leanne Kaiser (Larry) of St. Joseph, Linda Smith (Matt) of Ogden, Lynette Cravens (Allen) of Gifford and Lonna Pruitt (Chad) of Urbana. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (203 Main St, Royal, IL 61871). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Kopmann Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kopmann Cemetery and OSF Hospice.
