We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dean W. Urfer of Tower Hill, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Amos and Pauline Penelope Urfer (Tucker); his wife Fanny L. Spracklen; his daughters, Angela Stewardson and Danielle Urfer; and his brothers, Athur Urfer, Alan Urfer and Robert Urfer.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, River Stephens (Callie Bullion) of Navarre, FL and Aerielle Stephens of Tower Hill, IL; and his siblings-in-law, George Spracklen (Pat) of St. Peters, MO and Donna Spracklen of Rantoul, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
