It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Smith in Mansfield, Illinois, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Art Smith; and her parents, William Stinnett and Frances Stinnett. She is survived by: her children, Brandy Coy, Elizabeth Johnson (Eric), Shawn Smith and Alison Burrow (Donald); her grandchildren, Justin Coy, Nicolas Burrow and Riley Johnson; and her siblings, Wayne Taylor, Mark Taylor, Dean Taylor, Micki Stinnett and Sharon Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center Mahomet Chapel (1102 Churchill Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center's Mahomet Chapel (1102 Churchill Rd, Mahomet, IL 61853).
