In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joyce had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joyce may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Koss, and Mabel Koss, Sr. (Woods); her son Jerry; and her granddaughter Cherry. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Ashworth of Mahomet; her grandchildren, Betty Jo, Mitch and Chad; and her siblings, Chris Koss, Jr. and Carolyn Golias. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
