It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Cannon of Urbana, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hartman and Bertha Hartman; her husband Clifford Cannon; and her siblings, Charles Hartman, James Hartman, Virginia Bailey, Dorothy Parker and Catherine McCumber.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Cannon (Eva) and Patricia Cecil; and her grandchildren, Steve Peters (Sarah), Alexandra Cannon, Andrea Cannon and Rebekah Cannon. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and the families of the nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
