With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Brehm in Urbana, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Frank Brehm and Alberta Viola Brehm (Hilgenberg); and her grandfather Henry Hilgenberg. She is survived by: her aunt Juanita Dallmier (Hilgenberg); her uncle Jennings (Thelma Hilgenberg); her sons, Robert Guennewig (Rachel) of Champaign and Todd Guennewig (Kari) of Arcola; her sisters, Beverly Pryor (Dave) of Arcola and Brenda Reeser of Arcola; and her grandchildren, Dinah, Mabel, Alan and Adam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arcola United Methodist Church (121 S Locust St, Arcola, IL 61910). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to CCAR Industries or Arcola United Methodist Church.
