He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Walden and Margaret Walden (Waddey); and his wife Mary Jane Sievers. He was also cherished by his loving wife of 65 years; four children, seven grandchildren, four sisters, a cousin, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith United Methodist Church (1719 S Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61820).
