He is survived by: his parents, Joe Grimsey and Josephine Grimsey; his wife Patricia Grimsey; his sister Deb Grimsey-Bohi of Glen Ellyn, IL; his sons, John Grimsey of Champaign and Rich Grimsey (Shannon) of Saint Joseph; his grandchildren, Brooke Grimsey (Lucas) of Pesotum, Brayden Grimsey (Katie) of Champaign, Taylor Butler and Morgan Grimsey of Champaign; and his great grandchildren, Brysen, Sophie and Bodie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morgan Memorial (1304 Regency Dr W, Savoy, IL 61874). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
