She was predeceased by: her husband John Churilla; her son John Lawrence; her siblings, Theodore, Eli Csernyant and Ann Blaga (Anita); her sisters-in-law, Mary (Micklea) and Anna (Curjos); her nieces and nephews, Theodore (Ted), Steven, Jimmy, Mary Ann Macumber and Viorica Violet Wysocki; and her parents, Todor Csernyant and Simeona Csernyant.
She is survived by: her daughter Mona; and her son-in-law Rolf Pawelka.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Romanian Orthodox Church (31500 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092). The lying in state will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Descent of the Holy Ghost Romanian Orthodox Church, Sts. Peter & Paul Romanian Orthodox Church, or West Michigan Hospice.
