With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ron LeRoy Thorstad of Denver, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ron left this world on April 22, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Thorstad and Arleen Nodland Thorstad; his siblings, Evelyn Snyder, Jerry, Allan and Michael Thorstad; and his friend Bill Wilde.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his daughter Tyra Fainstad (Brandon); his stepdaughters, Sara Muniza (Joe) and Michelle Campbell; his grandchildren, Madeline and Desmond Fainstad; his stepgrandchildren, Rocco and Erin Muniza; his siblings, Gordon Thorstad (Anita), Norma Knapp and Lyman Larson (Pat); and his uncle George Nodland (Kayleen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary Pavilion of Reflection (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A committal service will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A reception will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary Heritage Hall (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
