He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruben Atencio and Rebecca Atencio. He is survived by : his wife Cora; his children, Tim (Judy) and Jeannie; his grandchildren, Kayla (Dion), Mike (April) and Kassy; his great grandchildren, Rubi, Rebekah, Dion Jr., Mike Jr. and Levi; his siblings, Anita Rodriguez (Sam), Ruben Jr., Manuel Atencio (Lorraine) and Carlo Armijo (George); and his close friends, Rosemary Hayes and Fritz.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Romero Family Funeral Home (110 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO 81004).
