It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Carpenter of Mosca, Colorado, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Teresa Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward King and Mary Felice Strassle King; and her siblings, Jack King, Robert "Bob" King, Isabelle "Izzy" Wooden, Emily Goehl, Edna Bennett, Pauline "Polly" Coombs and Jim King.
She is survived by : her children, Casey Carpenter of Alamosa, Kimberly Clark (Phil) of Page, AZ and Kelly Johnson (Jeff) of Monte Vista, CO; her grandson Paul Clark (Ariana Edie) of Alamosa, Colorado; her sisters, Jo Benson of Salida, CO and Carol Fear (John) of Salida, CO; her brother-in-law Len Carpenter (Jan) of Fort Collins, CO; and her cousin John Leadbeater (Alice) of Temple, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Family Mortuary - Monte Vista (404 Morris St, Monte Vista, CO 81144). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rogers Family Mortuary (404 Morris St, Monte Vista, CO 81144). A burial will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the San Luis Valley Cemetery (3762 US-160, Monte Vista, CO 81144).
