It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lee Cordova of Johnstown, Colorado, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Augustin and Santanita Cordova (Sisneros); his wife Genevieve Guadalupe Hernandez; his grandchildren, Isabella and Taylor; and his siblings, Gilbert, Louie, Porphie, Severo and Linda Baca.
He is survived by : his daughters, Andrea Sufian (Ivan), Shawn Buxman (Ty) and Jackie Hanger (Marc); his grandchildren, Nick, Drake, Sam, Steven, Tristan, Scarlett, Danielle and Mariah; and his siblings, Ernie Cordova (Virginia), Art Cordova (Janie), Mary Blackwell and Viola Quintana (Felix). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adamson Life Celebration Home (2000 47th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1000 Country Acres Dr, Johnstown, CO 80534). A mass of christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Johnstown Cemetery (23101 Co Rd 13, Johnstown, CO 80534).
