We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 96, Madge Elma Story (Cortez, Colorado), born in Waverly, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her siblings, Franny and Harold; and her husbands, Clarence Story and Howard. She is survived by : her children, Dennis Story (Sue), Steve Story (Linda), Greg Story (Sandy), Patti Moss (Norman) and Anne Cornett; her grandchildren, Shelley Stewart (Sean), Casey Story, Shannon Cline, Josh Cornett (Ann), Preston Cornett (Kayla) and Joseph Cornett; and her great grandchildren, Devyn Ann Cornett, Brooks Story, Brady, Kally Cline, Nolan and Haiden Cornett.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cortez First United Methodist Church (515 N Park St, Cortez, CO 81321). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cortez Cemetery (27440 US-160, Cortez, CO 81321).
