With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leyba in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, born in Trinidad, Colorado, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Leyba to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Leandro Leyba and Margaret Abeyta Leyba. He is survived by : his daughters, Julie (John), Maria (Tim) and Johanna (Manuel); his grandchildren, Zac Wood, Marisa McClain (Glenn), Eliana, Alicia, Jonathan Leyba Valdez, Levi and Gabriel Gurule; his son Russ (Cindy); his siblings, Lee (Phyllis) and Julie Crespin; his friends, Paul and Maureen Hofmann; and also, James and Maggie. He is also survived by his extended family, numerous friends and great neighbors.
A rosary will be held on Monday, January 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Dominic Catholic Church (2905 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211). A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, January 29th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the American Legion Hall (6230 W 60th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003).
