It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth Claycomb of La Junta, Colorado, born in Elkhart, Kansas, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Walsh and Nell Walsh (Harman); her husband Lou D. Claycomb; and her siblings, Carl Walsh, Nickey Sue Murphey and Nancy Walsh.
She is survived by : her children, Chris Claycomb of La Junta, CO and Clark Claycomb of La Junta, CO; her granddaughter Shelby Whalen (Josh Eveatt) of La Junta, CO; her step-grandson Josh Acree (Chelsea) of Dallas, TX; and her great grandchildren, Brenden, Addison Eveatt, PJ Eveatt, Luke, Carter and Jackson Acree.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Inspiration Field Event Center (612 Adams Ave, La Junta, CO 81050).
