It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Roland Backus of Centennial, Colorado, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Roland Backus and Ethel Backus; his daughter Emily Kannenberg (Adam) of New Hampshire; and his sisters, Karen, Cathy and Chris of Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122).
