She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Best and Elizabeth Best (Titus) of Holdrege, Nebraska.; and her husband John M. Herhahn. She is survived by : her sister Betty Anne; her children, Amy Thompson (Kevin) of Kearney, Nebraska and John B. Herhahn (Sarah) of Benzonia, Michigan; her grandsons, Lucas Eifert of Laramie and Alex Eifert of Kearney, Nebraska; her step-granddaughter Whitney Pfeifer (Max) of Wisconsin; her sister Betty Sayers of Holdrege; her brother-in-law Frank Herhahn (Karen) of Bloomington, Indiana; her nephew Robert McCormick (Michelle); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caylin and Christine of Holdrege; her niece Jane Anello (Andy); and her great-nephews, Dominick and Dante of San Diego, California.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Prairie Home Cemetery (2221 18th Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Nancy's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
