It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Nichole Padilla (Grand Junction, Colorado), born in Gallup, New Mexico, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her great-grandparents, Vicenta Castaneda and Rosie Padilla; her great-uncle Johnny Padilla; and her cousins, Cesar Retana and Naomi Wildey.
She is survived by : her husband Nathaniel; her sons, Samuel and Leonardo of Fruita, CO; her parents, Christy Sanchez of New Mexico and Robert; her step-mother Karie of Fruita, CO; her brother Vince Sanchez; her sister-in-law Chelsea (Robert J Padilla) of New Mexico; her sisters, April Padilla, Layla Baldino and Emily; her brother-in-law Kyle Scheve of Fruita, CO; her grandmother Loura Padilla of Grand Junction, CO.; and also Emily Brogden. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, her many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Mortuary (550 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Life Church (2066 US-50, Fruita, CO 81521).
